Public meeting re: the convent
Residents are invited to attend an information meeting to learn more about the proposed development for the former Sisters of the Visitation property in Westboro.
The proposal is a result of Planning and Environment Committee exercising Section 37 of the Planning Act which states that increases in the height and density of development will be permitted in return for the provision of facilities, services or other community amenities.
The meeting will be run by Tim Marc, Senior Legal Counsel for the City of Ottawa. Councillor Leadman will also be in attendance.
Thursday November 4, 7-9pm
Notre Dame High School Auditorium
710 Broadview Avenue
City representatives will present the details at 7 p.m.
Residents have an opportunity to respond to the proposal by e-mailing plan@ottawa.ca or 311@ottawa.ca.
