Committee of Adjustment Notice of Public Hearing for 13 Granville Avenue

The Wellington Village Community Association has received notification of consent and minor variance applications to the Committee of Adjustment for 13 Granville Avenue, a property owned by Ken Buajitti. The applicant wishes to demolish the existing detached dwelling and subdivide the property into two separate parcels of land for constructing a two-storey, semi-detached dwelling, with one dwelling unit on each of the newly created parcels of land, each with a roof top deck. Consent is required for a conveyance. The severed land, to be known as 13 Granville Ave, will have a frontage of 7.62m, a depth of 29.29m, and a lot area of 223.2 square metres. The retained land (15 Granville Ave) will have the same dimensions.

The variances for which approval is being sought, for both proposed parcels (13 and 15 Granville Ave) are:

  • to permit reduced lot areas of 223.2 square metres, whereas the by-law requires minimum lot areas of 225 square metres.

This item will be heard by the Committee of Adjustment on January 14, 2015 starting at 1:00 pm at 101 Centrepointe Drive, Ben Franklin Place, The Chamber.
