City Hall and Residents must act now to save ash trees

OTTAWA, July 22 -- On July 11th the City of Ottawa issued a news release announcing that City Council had approved an additional $1 million for 2012 to increase the treatment of ash trees and the planting of new trees in efforts to combat the emerald ash borer (EAB) infestation. The next WVCA board meeting is Thursday September 26th, from 7:30-9:00 p.m.

The following meetings are tentatively scheduled for Thursday October 17th and Thursday November 21st.

Usually the WVCA meets the third Thursday of each month at Fisher park School from 7:30-9:00 p.m.

~Enter via Holland Ave doors, turn right upon entering, room 112 is down hall on your left.

~Accessible entrance via Harmer Avenue only: Enter the school and head straight down the main hall, turn left at the end and room 112 will be on your left.
