The WVCA is proud to help organize an Ottawa Centre All Candidates Debate for the upcoming federal election.
The Debate will take place on Tuesday, October 15th at 7pm at St. George's Parish (415 Piccadilly Ave. North). Doors open at 6:30pm. All are welcome. Get there early- it's bound to be a full house!
The Wellington Village Community Association (WVCA) is a volunteer, non-profit community group of local residents that represents over 1,500 households in our neighbourhood.

WVCA at TASTE of Wellington- Saturday, Sept. 21, 11am - 3pm
The tastiest event of the year- TASTE of Wellington is happening Saturday, September 21st and WVCA will be there! While you sample delicious food and browse our fantastic shops be sure to swing by the WVCA table for information about the neighbourhood; sign up to be a member; or simply to say hi.
We'll be there from 11am to 3pm in front of Clothes by Muriel Dombret (Wellington St. West and Huron Ave. North).

Have Your Say: The New Official Plan
If you haven't already weighed in on the City of Ottawa's New Official Plan now is the time! The City has extended the deadline to provide comments until September 30th.
According to the city, "The City of Ottawa's Official Plan provides a vision for the future growth of the city and a policy framework to guide the city's physical development. In 2019, the City of Ottawa is beginning a multi-year process to develop a new Official Plan."
