Rosemount Library: Canada 150 Application
At the last city council meeting, the City applied for additional funding under the Canada 150 fund.
The city of Ottawa has missed the mark by not ensuring a healthy future - and expansion of this library. It is distressing to watch still another condo building go up in the neighborhood - this one at that crucial corner of Wellington and Rosemount, a lot that would have provided a wonderful site for an expanded library.
To me this is another example of shortsightedness.
Good luck with a measly $1 million - but will that accomplish the pressing need to expand this library?
