Planning Primer Elective: Residential Intensification and Infill

Colonel Room, Second Floor
8:30 am to noon
Register for this elective provided you have already completed Primer I and Primer II,
This elective will explore:

What is meant by "residential intensification", what are the intensification targets in the Official Plan, where is it expected to occur within the city and why,

The three ways in which small-scale infill projects are approved, and the consultation and development review processes by which they are approved, and

How larger-scale infill projects are approved and what factors are considered by the department in approving them.

E-mail your registration to primer@ottawa.ca, identifying your preferred date to attend, and your availability for the alternate date, no later than November 13, 2013.
